The Czech Indoor Nationals 2005/06 were comprised of 4 races which were held two times in Prague, Trebic, and Prostejov. Three out of four races were counted. Races had three categories: Modified, 19 turn, and 1:18 micro. The 1:18 micro category is very popular in Czech Republic and as a result was the most-attended category.
Most prestigious was the Modified category, where drivers from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and France battled for the Czech indoor title. Team XRAY drivers Martin Hudy, Juraj Hudy, and Michal Bok attended all four races.
Each race was made up of 4 qualifiers of which the 2 best results were counted. Drivers could use only LRP Vtec-24 tires.
Race 1 - Prague â“ 29 October 2005

Team XRAY had their strongest showing in the Czech Republic. Eight of 10 drivers in the A-main were using the XRAY FKâ™05 car. The first race also showed who wanted to make a good result in these Nationals.

Race 2 â“ Trebic â“ 3 December 2005

This was the first race where Martin, Juraj, and Michal Bok tested the new T2 car. All three drivers were very fast and showcased the carâ™s performance. Martin lead the race from the beginning and tested XRAYâ™s new system â“ Multi-Flex Technology™.

This race showed the geniality of this new system when Martin did not need to change anything on his car; he only added some screws and saved a lot of time in comparison to other drivers who need to change setups a lot.

Race 3 - Prague â“ 21 December 2005

All top drivers showed their performance on very technical track that is very typical in the Czech Republic. For a lot of drivers it was first race with the new T2 car. Everyone was happy with the carâ™s performance and with its new technology. Martin again set TQ ahead of very fast Vaclav Strupek and Michal Bok. Martin was extremely fast this time; his fastest qualification was more than 8 seconds faster than Vaclav`s.

Michal Bok was very fast in the finals and finished in 2nd behind Martin. Martin won the third race and so claimed the title for the Czech indoor nationals. XRAY dominated this race with 10 out of 10 drivers using an XRAY car in the Modified category.

Race 4 (final) - Prostejov â“ 18 February 2006

This was the biggest race with 93 drivers; with the biggest surprise being the micro category with 32 drivers. Team XRAY as usual attended this race and again dominated. Martin won all four qualifiers and set TQ, and young, talented Michal Nemecek was qualified 2nd with his new T2 car. Another young driver, Zdenek Hamak, qualified 3rd with his FK05. Strupek qualified 4th and Bok 5th. Michal Bok had a bad day when he had problems with his motor; he broke his motor in two qualifiers and in last round he was attacked by slower drivers.

Martin again easily won the first 2 finals and in the last one (when he led more than half a lap) he too broke his motor. Vaclav Strupek finished 2nd in front of Michal Nemecek. Juraj dominated the micro category, winning all qualifiers and the final by 1 entire lap.
